Terms of service

The service. Poof is a public “product exchange”: you pay to list a product URL on the wall, anyone can pay to poof (remove) it, and anyone can pay to restore it. There is no pot, prize pool, or payout — each payment buys a placement or a round in the fight. Pricing and refunds are described in our Rules.

Eligibility. You must be able to form a binding contract where you live and be old enough to pay online (typically 18+, or age of majority in your country). You may not use the service where it is illegal.

Accounts. There are no passwords. Listing ties an email to a domain; that email receives notices for that listing. You are responsible for charges made through Stripe Checkout sessions you complete.

Payments. All charges are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay. Completing checkout authorizes the charge. Failed races (someone else wins the same round first) are not refunded — see Rules. We may refund when we ban a listing, as described there.

What you may list. Products and product sites only. No illegal content, sexual content, or listings aimed at a person rather than a product. We may remove listings and block domains without refund. “Poof a product” is the joke; harassment is not.

Your content. You confirm you have the right to submit URLs you list. You grant us a licence to display, crawl, and share listing metadata (title, image, domain) on the public wall, receipts, and share cards. Signed poofs may show the name and link you provide.

Public record. Listings, receipts, amounts, and timestamps are public. Do not use Poof if you need privacy.

No guarantees. The site is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uptime, that a listed site stays online, or that metadata we fetch is accurate. We are not responsible for third‑party sites you link to.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for amounts above what you paid us for the transaction in dispute. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

Termination. We may suspend or stop the service, ban domains, or refuse listings at our discretion. You stop using the site by not paying — there is nothing to cancel except email alerts (unsubscribe link in every mail).

Changes. We may change these terms or the product; material changes will be reflected by updating this page. Continued use or new payments after an update means you accept the new terms.
